We had a great week last week..lots of things on the go. We gathered together this year for our first mass of the school year. A big thank you to the grade 2 students who prepared the mass and welcomed us all back.
The weather this week was absolutely beautiful so we took a lot of our learning outside this week. We created our 'sit spot' bags using newspapers and ziplocks. The newspaper acts as an insulator for when we find our spot to sit and observe nature. This week we just practised what that would look like and found a spot to enjoy nature. We began to listen to different sounds we hear outside.We have a lot on the go this week, so please tune into twitter to see everything that is happening in our classroom. Reminder that this coming Tuesday evening at 7:00pm at St. Bernard Church will be a meeting for those interested in the sacrament of Confirmation.
