HEADER - DO NOT TOUCH

Dear St. Bernard families,

We are pleased to announce our fourth annual Pumpkin Dance-A-Thon will take place on Monday, October 31st.  Through this fun, whole school event, we aim to continue to engage students and build our joyful community. All students will have an opportunity to participate in the dance party with their grade.
This dance will also be our school fundraiser for the year. Money raised will be used to help subsidize the cost of special events & presentations, as well as equipment for our school, yard, and classrooms.

How You Can Help
All of our students benefit from the money raised so please give generously! You can support our fundraising goals by asking family, friends, and colleagues to sponsor your child by offering a donation for their participation in our Dance-A-Thon. We ask that students do not collect door to door.

In order to limit the amount of cash students bring in, families are encouraged to donate and purchase items as much as possible through School Cash Online.
All donations and purchases must be made by October 27th.

Cake Raffle
Students will also be able to purchase cake raffle tickets - 5 for $1.00. Teachers will distribute the tickets to students who purchase them. All prizes from the cake raffle will be sent home for families to enjoy.

Photo Booth
Another popular activity at the Dance-A-Thon is the photo booth. Students can smile and take a picture for $1.00 per copy. Photos will be distributed within a week.

Snack Combos
Snack combos will also be available to purchase (a bag of chips and juice for $1.00).

Costumes
Students are permitted to wear costumes to school. However, masks and accessories (eg. wands, swords, shields, replicas of weapons) are not permitted. Costumes must also be appropriate - not scary or intimidating to our younger students. Face paint resembling blood or gore is not permitted.

This promises to be a very exciting event! Thank you in advance for your generous support.

Sincerely,
Ms. Bissonnette
